Miller Holding Builds Africa's Landmark Congress and Financial Center

Milvest, the Miller Holding subsidiary behind some of the Democratic Republic of the Congo's most significant mega projects, officially opened the Kinshasa Congress and Financial Center.

Milvest, a subsidiary of Miller Holding—one of Türkiye's most innovative holding companies—has officially inaugurated the Kinshasa Congress and Financial Center, a landmark development set to reshape the skyline of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and support the country's economic growth. Beyond its iconic architecture, the complex will enrich the city's identity through its vibrant public and living spaces.

Expressing his pride in completing one of Africa's most ambitious developments, Turhan Mildon, Chairman of the Board of Miller Holding, stated:

"The Kinshasa Congress and Financial Center is more than a contribution to the Democratic Republic of the Congo's development. It also stands as a symbol of the strong partnership and successful cooperation between Türkiye and the Democratic Republic of the Congo."

Providing details about the project, Mildon added:

"The development actually consists of two major projects. We have constructed a complex comprising seven buildings, one of which will become the region's most luxurious hotel. Featuring a 3,000-square-meter high-tech fountain, retail areas, and social spaces, the project is transforming the city's landscape. In addition, we have developed facilities that will stimulate commercial activity, including a congress center and two leasable office towers."

Highlighting the collaborative effort behind the mega project, Mildon emphasized that it was brought to life through the dedication of 3,000 Congolese and more than 2,300 Turkish professionals.

"This project will continue creating employment long after construction is completed. It will become not only the heart of finance but also a major center for employment. The Kinshasa Congress and Financial Center will function as a vibrant urban hub where approximately 5,000 people will work, including employees from the Ministries of Finance and Budget."

Over USD 60 Million Equity Investment for the Hotel

Mildon underlined that all infrastructure of the Financial Center belongs to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

"We have established an important partnership. The luxury hotel we built will operate under a globally recognized international hotel brand. We will manage the hotel for a designated period before transferring it to the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We have invested more than USD 60 million in equity into this hotel, creating a model public-private partnership for the country."

Concluding his remarks, Mildon referred to Miller Holding's corporate philosophy:

"Our Holding has a motto: 'Moving into the Future with Strong Steps.' Every project we undertake strengthens confidence in the future. We believe this landmark development will further reinforce the ties between Türkiye and the Democratic Republic of the Congo."
