Milvest, a subsidiary of the Turkish company Miller Holding, has inaugurated the Kinshasa Congress and Financial Center, a landmark development that will redefine the skyline of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and support the country's economic growth. According to the company, the complex will contribute not only through its iconic structures but also by creating vibrant public and living spaces that enhance the city's identity.
Turhan Mildon, Chairman of the Board of Miller Holding, expressed his pride in completing one of Africa's most ambitious projects.
"The Kinshasa Congress and Financial Center is not only a major contribution to the country's development but also a milestone in strengthening the partnership between Türkiye and the Democratic Republic of the Congo," he said.
Over USD 60 Million Invested in the Hotel
Providing further details about the project, Mildon stated:
"The development actually consists of two major projects. We have built a complex comprising seven buildings, one of which will become the region's most luxurious hotel. With its state-of-the-art 3,000-square-meter fountain, retail outlets, and social spaces, the project is transforming the city's landscape. In addition, we have completed a congress center and two leasable office towers that will further stimulate commercial activity."
The Kinshasa Congress and Financial Center was officially inaugurated by President Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Miller Holding Chairman Turhan Mildon.
Emphasizing the scale of the undertaking, Mildon noted that the mega project was brought to life through the dedication of 3,000 Congolese and more than 2,300 Turkish professionals.
"The center will continue generating employment long after construction has been completed. It will become not only the country's financial hub but also a major employment center."
Highlighting that the entire infrastructure of the Financial Center belongs to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mildon added:
"We have established an important partnership. The luxury hotel we have built will operate under a globally recognized international hotel brand. We will manage the hotel for a designated period before transferring it to the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We have invested more than USD 60 million in equity into this hotel, creating a model public-private partnership for the country."
